Roofing materials
Reclaimed Roof Slates | Welcome to The Reclaimed Company Shop
Reclaimed slates, reclaimed roof tiles, reclaimed ridge tiles and much more. If you are looking for second-hand roofing materials with character, durability and immediate availability, you are in the right place.
We stock a wide range of reclaimed roofing and building materials, alongside an eclectic and ever-changing selection of architectural salvage. As a result, whether you are repairing a period roof, sourcing materials for an extension, or simply trying to match an existing covering, we can usually help.
Reclaimed roofing materials, ready to move
From our roots as specialist roofing contractors, we developed a business centred on practical, usable and often hard-to-find reclaimed roofing stock. Therefore, our focus is not just on salvage for its own sake, but on supplying materials that genuinely work on site.
That includes reclaimed roof slates, reclaimed roof tiles, ridge tiles and related roofing materials for projects across the country. Because availability matters, all reclaimed slates are offered for immediate national delivery wherever possible.
Why reclaimed roofing stock matters: it helps match older buildings, adds visual depth to new work, reduces waste and keeps useful materials in circulation.
Reclaimed slates
Derived from our roofing background, we supply salvaged roof slates nationally. Our stock regularly includes reclaimed slates, Welsh slates, Westmorland slates and Burlington slates, all selected for projects where quality, consistency and character matter.
In practice, reclaimed slates are especially useful when you need to repair or extend an older roof without creating an obvious visual mismatch. Equally, they are an excellent option for buyers who value durability and want materials that have already proven themselves over time.
All reclaimed slates are available for immediate national delivery, which means you do not need to rely solely on what might happen to be available locally.
Reclaimed tiles
Our stock also includes a strong range of reclaimed roof tiles for repair work, larger restoration schemes and projects that need a more sympathetic, weathered finish.
Typical stock lines include:
- Pantiles
- French Tiles
- Concrete tiles
- Rare clay tiles
- Clay tile fittings and much more, all available for immediate national delivery
As a result, whether you are matching an older roof covering or buying for a one-off design-led project, reclaimed tiles remain one of the most useful categories in the salvage market.
Reclaimed Ridge Tiles
As with our slate and tile stock, our range of reclaimed ridge tiles is extensive. Since ridge details are so visually prominent, getting the right shape and finish can make a major difference to the overall look of a roof.
- Roll top ridge tiles
- Angle capped ridge tiles
- Reclaimed stone ridge tiles
- Reclaimed slate ridge tiles
- Hogs back ridge tiles
- Half round ridge tiles
- Clay ridge tiles
- Glazed ridge tiles
If you are looking for reclaimed roofing materials, there is a strong chance we already have what you need. Moreover, if we do not, we also work with a wider distributor network and may be able to source it on your behalf.

Where to sell reclaimed building materials
At The Reclaimed Company, we realise that finding a buyer for second-hand building materials can be difficult. Too often, sellers are pushed toward large platforms with hefty final value fees, rising transaction costs and a poor fit for specialist salvage stock.
However, we have developed our own solution. The overall aim of The Reclaimed Company is to provide users with an outlet for everything salvaged at an affordable price, without clogging the experience up with pop-ups and irrelevant adverts.
That means you can list reclaimed building materials, roofing stock and second-hand items more cleanly, more affordably and, just as importantly, in front of a more relevant audience.
So, how does it work?
We believe that reuse and recycling, especially in relation to salvaged building products, can benefit the environment by reducing waste. At the same time, upcycling and resale have become increasingly popular, which means there is a growing market for materials that still have real life left in them.
Creating value from stock that might otherwise be thrown away gives a second chance to what some people would dismiss as junk. In reality, much of it is precisely the sort of material buyers are actively looking for.
Our e-commerce platform sets out the items that we already have in stock and ready to deliver. Meanwhile, our listing site helps connect buyers and sellers of all things salvaged.
‘Ow Much?
As is the Yorkshire way, we believe in simplicity, transparency and great value. Therefore, our pricing structure is designed to stay clear and accessible.
- List anything for free, so long as it is second hand, reclaimed, vintage or salvaged.

- We will take a fee of 5% of the sale price at the point payment is received from the buyer.
