Decorative ridge tiles

Decorative ridge tiles were historically used on finer properties as a display of wealth or status.

Usually made from clay, in 300mm or 450mm lengths, they were designed to create a focal point at the apex of a roof.

Moreover, such ridge tiles, depending upon width, are suitable for use with pantiles, Welsh slate and plain tile roof coverings.

In addition, as they were used on properties where status was being displayed, they are often found matched with Westmorland or Burlington Slates
