What is this lead used for?

Code 6 roofing lead is used for pitched and flat roofing and is considered the most versatile choice when it comes to lead flashing. Installed correctly lead is a superb roofing and detailing material.

Lead flashing | What lengths are available

Usually, code 6 flashing lead is available in 3m or 6m rolls. Each roll size and the costs associated are depicted in the item. However, for larger orders, we are able to offer custom cut sizes of lead. However, there will be a lead time on this. Code 6 | The details

Code 6 is approx 2.65mm thick (which is a 18.3% increase on code 5 lead) with a total weight of 30.05kg/m2. The Thickness is to BS EN12588 tolerances of +/- 5%
Moreover, code 6 is amongst the most appropriate lead to use for high exposure areas. It can be bossed, welded and formed to suit almost any roofing application or detail.
Further, lead can be recycled, its green credentials as a roofing material are widely known.

Delivery of roofing lead

When ordering, delivery charges will apply based upon the quantity of lead ordered. Lead is heavy, and will need to be transported on a pallet. Buying more will mean that the shipping rate overall is more cost effective as the cost of shipping will be the same whether you order 1 roll or one tonne.
