Description

Redland Renown is a large format, low profile, concrete interlocking tile, which is easy to lay and offers superb value for money.

This tile is popular for both residential and commercial properties alike. Ideal for new builds, home renovations and home extensions.

The Renown is a larger version of the Redland 49 tile. A neat, low profile tile that is designed to blend unobtrusively into its surroundings and give a more contemporary feel to a roof with a square edged profile.

The Redland Renown is quick and easy to lay but also provides exceptional wind and driving rain performance.

Our Redland renowns are in perfect condition but are weathered so would fit in perfectly with existing tiles.

Definition: Number of slates needed to cover one square metre.

Formula: 1 000 000 mm² ÷ (effective width × effective height)

Where:

Effective width = tile width – side lap
Effective height = tile height – head lap

Example: 610 mm × 355 mm tile, 20 mm side lap, 75 mm head lap:

Effective width: 610 − 20 = 590 mm
Effective height: 355 − 75 = 280 mm
Area per slate: 590 × 280 = 165 200 mm²
Slates per m²: 1 000 000 ÷ 165 200 ≈ 6.05
