Product description

UltraPerm® Premium is a composite breathable membrane manufactured using a micro-porous functional film laminated between
two protective non-woven polypropylene layers. The result is an underlay that helps allow water vapour to pass outward
while maintaining a robust barrier against liquid water penetration.

It is designed for use beneath slate and tile coverings in both warm non-ventilated and
cold ventilated pitched roof constructions. When installed correctly, it assists with reducing the
risk of condensation and provides a dependable secondary line of defence beneath the roof covering.

Install with printed/marked face uppermost and lap to shed water down the slope.

Use an eaves guard/eaves tray where appropriate to help direct water into the gutter and reduce UV exposure at the eaves.
Keep the period of exposure to weather as short as possible before installing the roof covering.
Repair accidental damage before the roof covering is installed to maintain weathertightness.

Where:

Effective width = tile width – side lap
Effective height = tile height – head lap

Example: 610 mm × 355 mm tile, 20 mm side lap, 75 mm head lap:

Effective width: 610 − 20 = 590 mm
