OFVS trays are a combined felt carrier ventilator and prevent access by birds at the eaves.
Further, they provide free air ventilation at the eaves and are frequently used with profiled tiles.
Commonly, their use extends beyond traditional clay pan-tiles to more modern profiled concrete interlocking tiles.
Their purpose is to prevent exposure of the membrane at the eaves whilst providing ventilation under the felt and a barrier against birds, squirrels or other vermin.
