This large hand made water tank has fantastic naturally aged markings and is one of a group of five.
History
A unique reclaimed water tank sourced from the undoubtedly historic Langton Hall. The hall is found in the North Yorkshire Country Side. Having been installed circa 1850; this tank is part of the four hundred year history of the beautiful stately home. This traditionally made water tank will make a striking feature in a home, business as well as a garden.
Uses
Many uses that would without a doubt maximise the repurposing of the aged galvanised steel water tank include; a fabulous water feature or a planter within in a garden or grounds much like the designs described by the Gardeners World article here.

The length and size of the water tank will create rare chances for repurposing. These opportunities are not often available when working with water tanks. This nine foot water tank will be able to make a dining table that will comfortably seat 10 diners.

Build
The hand made water tank gives the impression to most likely have been made in the first half of the twentieth century. A heavy metal tank most likely made from galvanised steel.
This water tank is not only quality but also a well-made product and has been made to last for eras. You will find strengthened corners and also a thick 2.5″ lip surrounding the open top.

Unique Features
The sealed panels have prominent riveting which gives a great industrial feel. The traditional blue painted stencilled product number also leaves an impression of the age.
In addition natural ageing has occurred to create unique markings along with colourings.
