Code 3 150mm 6m roofing lead is a lightweight rolled lead sheet used for soakers, step flashings and other supported details where flexibility and low weight are essential. Supplied as Envirolead, this product is manufactured from recycled lead, certified to BS EN 12588 and BBA approved for roofing applications.

Typical Uses – Code 3 150mm Roofing Lead
Code 3 lead is best used for lightweight, supported details rather than exposed flat areas. This 150mm x 6m roll is commonly specified for:
- Tile and slate soakers to abutments and chimneys
- Step flashings where the lead is fully supported and covered by tiles or slates
- Dormer side soakers and small vertical transitions beneath higher-code flashings
- Conservatory and lean-to flashings where Code 3 is used as a soaker layer
- Repairs in conservation areas where lightweight, discreet detailing is required
Note: Code 3 should not be used as an exposed flat roof covering. For gutters, valleys, trays and other high-exposure areas, step up to Code 4, 5 or 6 in line with BS 6915 and LSTA guidance.

Sustainability & Whole-Life Performance
Envirolead Code 3 roofing lead combines traditional durability with modern sustainability credentials. Produced from recycled lead and fully recyclable at end of life, it offers a very low whole-life environmental impact when compared with many alternative weathering materials.
Correctly detailed and installed in accordance with BS 6915 and LSTA guidance, lead flashings and soakers can deliver service lives measured in decades, often exceeding the lifespan of the roof coverings they protect.
