In short, we offer an online platform for buying and selling almost anything reclaimed, second-hand, used, recycled or upcycled, both locally and internationally, at a price that is fair and reasonable.

Having used other selling and listing sites ourselves over the years, we know exactly how frustrating hefty fees, confusing charging structures and final value deductions can be. Our aim has always been to create a platform that is simpler, more transparent and more aligned with the values of the salvage and reuse economy.

That means a site built around practical reuse, honest pricing and a strong focus on giving useful goods another life.

Our classified ads can be placed for almost anything, internationally, so long as the listing fits the purpose of the site.

The rules for items listed for sale on our platform are deliberately straightforward:

• Items must be second-hand, used, reclaimed, recycled or upcycled. Nothing new, please.
• Items must be genuinely available and genuinely for sale. Our site exists for real listings, not irritating pop-up style advertising.
• Items must be placed in a category appropriate to their nature. If you cannot find a suitable category, message us and we will create one where appropriate.

For just five pounds sterling, anyone can place an advert valid for 30 days on The Reclaimed Company. Listing your second-hand items — whatever they are — has never been easier.

Online Auctions…..

Our online auctions offer another route to market and can be especially useful when you are unsure what an item may be worth. Rather than forcing a fixed price too early, you can let demand determine the value.

The process follows the familiar logic of a traditional auction:

• Buyers place the bid they are prepared to pay.
• The current displayed price reflects the highest active bid.
• Any later bids must exceed that value.

If you are dealing with unusual stock, one-off salvage, reclaimed fixtures or items where the market value is not immediately obvious, online auctions can be an excellent tool.

Our free-to-collect section is ideal for items that still have use, but which you simply want gone quickly and without hassle. It can save you money on skip hire, time at the tip and the frustration of sending something useful to waste.

For bulky, awkward or low-value items, asking yourself whether a fiver is a small price to pay to have someone take it away is often a very practical calculation.

Every transaction via our platform is subject to a 10% fee. In addition, our payment provider will charge a further 1.5% + £0.20, which we believe is a fair price for security and peace of mind.

Moreover, we do not care what you list or how much it is worth. You can list a yacht for £1 million or a reclaimed water tank for £100; the basic listing logic does not suddenly become more complicated.
