Top tips for blade life

Flanges as well as shaft must be clean.

Diameter of bore and machine shaft should be equal.

Rotation arrow on the blade should also correspond to the direction of rotation of the angle grinder.

Avoid strong grinding pressure, weight of machine will be ample.

Avoid tilting and also oscillating of blade during operation.

Furthermore be wary of over heating. Above all cool every 60 seconds.

In case of rotating sparks (caused by decreased cutting ability) the blade should be resharpened by cutting in sandstone also asphalt can be used.

A diamond blade is a saw blade which has diamonds fixed on its edge for cutting hard and also abrasive materials. There are many types of diamond blade. When water cannot be used (in, for example, electrical saws), measures should be taken to ensure that the operator does not inhale the dust created by the process, which can cause silicosis, a serious lung disease. When dry cutting, the blade should be allowed to cool off often. Cooling can be increased by allowing the blade to spin freely out of the cut.
