The Kurstjens Courtrai Roof tile is clay and also a double interlocking Pantile.<\/p>\n

This tile is commonly known and described as the “Courtrai”, “Sterreberg” or the “Flemish” tile.<\/p>\n

Kurstjens tiles are produced in the Dutch area of Tegelen. This roof tile works had a wide range of Tuile du Nord, Flemish, Bullet and Roman tiles.<\/p>\n

The J. Kurstjens roof tile work was located near Tegelen and specialized in several roof tile models, including the Mulden, improved pantile Tuile du Nord, Roman, Bullet and interlocking tile. Using machine mixed clay, their tiles became known for their durability.<\/p>\n
