By their nature, the good sold are reclaimed and are not subject to a guarantee from either us or the manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>We aim, where practicable, to sort all goods before delivery to the best of our ability. However, due to their reclaimed nature differences in size, colour and texture are often apparent.<\/p>\n<p>We cannot be held accountable for such differences and will not accept returns on such goods.<\/p>\n<p>Please\u00a0<a href=\"sales@thereclaimedcompany.co.uk\">contact us\u00a0<\/a> first if you receive faulty goods &#8211; we will not pay for replacement parts or repair services arranged without our consent.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Returns Policy<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Due to the nature of the goods that we sell we cannot accept returns once the goods have been delivered and offloaded.<\/p>\n<p>The opportunity to inspect the goods either in person or by photographs, sent via e mail or displayed on our website will, in most cases, be offered before goods are dispatched.<\/p>\n<p>Should you have a surplus of goods upon completion of a specified project we cannot accept returns for such. It is the responsibility of the customer, or their contractor, to ensure that an accurate representation of required quantities is presented to us at point of sale.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Damage in transit to you<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>When you receive your order it is necessary that you check the goods when they arrive. Once they have been unloaded, remove sufficient packaging to allow you to check the goods thoroughly before you sign for them. If you find any damage please sign for it as &#8216;damaged&#8217;. If you are not given sufficient time to make that check then refuse the delivery. Signing it &#8216;unchecked&#8217; is not sufficient. If anything is damaged please let us know as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>You have up to 3 days from receiving the order to let us know if something was damaged. Within that 3 day period we will replace or repair free of charge any items that were damaged as long as they were signed for as &#8216;damaged&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Please\u00a0<a href=\"sales@thereclaimedcompany.co.uk\">contact us<\/a>\u00a0 first if you receive damaged goods &#8211; we will not pay for replacement parts or repair services arranged without our consent.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Incorrect parts sent or specified<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If incorrect parts have been sent then please let us know as soon as possible and we will send replacement parts free of charge as soon as possible. We will usually arrange collection of the incorrect parts at the same time. Sometimes we may ask if you would be willing to send the incorrect parts back to us in which case we would of course refund the cost of sending those parts back to us to you as well. Please let us know within 3 days of receiving the parts.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Out of stock items<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If something is out of stock then we will let you know as soon as we can. Often we can arrange to have the missing item sent out as soon as it comes into stock, or you may wish to have the whole order sent a little later but complete. We can also sometimes arrange for substitute items to be sent out as long as you agree to that.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to cancel your order because something is out of stock then you can do so.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Lost in transit<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If goods are lost in transit then please let us know as soon as possible, We will then chase up the delivery and if it cannot be found we will send out replacements free of charge. If the goods have been lost in transit then you can of course cancel the order if you so wish.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Refunds<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We will refund you for cancelled orders within 30 days of the order being cancelled. We may refund straight back to the credit\/debit card that was used to pay for the order or by cheque sent by first class post. We cannot return deposits on non-stock items which have been ordered in especially for you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Cancelling an order<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>You can return any goods to us within 7 days of receiving the goods. If you cancel the order then it is up to you to return the goods to us &#8211; we can of course make some suggestions as to carriers that you might choose to use. While you have the goods and while they are in transit it is your responsibility to take reasonable care of them. If they arrive back to us damaged then this will be taken into account. For this reason we recommend that you ensure that the goods are sufficiently insured for their return journey to us. Where you are cancelling and returning the whole order to us we will also refund the cost of the original delivery to you (but not the cost of the delivery back to us). To cancel an order please simply\u00a0<a href=\"sales@thereclaimedcompany.co.uk\">contact us<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>How to pay for your order<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>You can pay by credit\/debit card over the phone or online via one of the payment methods depicted on our site, or by bank transfer &#8211; our account details will be present on all invoices sent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note, goods will not be dispatched until they have been paid for in full inclusive of associated delivery charges.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Delivery of your order<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The delivery driver will (as far as possible) deliver to your door. The delivery drive will not help you inside with the goods. If a driver is particularly helpful and you persuade them to help you take goods inside then you do so at your own risk. For example if your carpet is damaged then you would have to pay for this, not the driver, and not us. If you do not agree to this then please do not ask the driver for help in taking goods inside.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a gravel driveway or narrow access then the driver is unlikely to be able to take to goods right up to your house &#8211; this applies especially to large orders delivered on a pallet so that is a stove delivery or a large flue order. If this is the case please let us know and we can arrange for a small delivery vehicle to deliver to you (at extra cost), or make arrangements to get the goods from a place where the delivery driver can reasonably deliver them to your house. If in doubt contact us before delivery is arranged.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Re-delivery charges<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If a pallet has to be redelivered because there is no-one to accept the delivery of the pallet on the arranged date then a redelivery charge may be due. We will contact you if this is the case.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>What if the delivery is late<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Delays whilst in transit are possible and are out of our control. Please let us know if your order has not arrived and we will chase it up for you. For this reason we recommend that you ensure that you have all the goods first before booking in installers\/builders.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason also we are not liable for any costs incurred as a result of a delivery being late, or incorrect &#8211; see the item below.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Costs incurred by you<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We are not liable for any costs incurred by you or any loss of earnings. For example if a delivery is late and you have to rebook an installer then we are not liable for any extra charges that installer may charge you. Neither are we liable for any loss of earnings as a result of you taking time off work to accept a delivery even if it is late.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Prices<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>All the prices shown on our websites are <strong>exclusive<\/strong> of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless specifically stated. Valued Added Tax (VAT) will be added once a product has been placed in your cart and will be displayed as a separate cost. Although we make every effort to keep our price information up to date on our websites mistakes are possible. Where a price has been incorrectly shown we will let you know as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><strong>Your details<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We hold information such as your name and address. This is necessary for our accounts and to easily look up your order or contact you if we have to. We do not hold data that we may not need and we do not store any credit card details. Definitions<\/strong> 1.1 &#8220;Seller&#8221; refers to York Reclaimed Slate Company Limited, the entity supplying second-hand roofing materials. 1.2 &#8220;Buyer&#8221; refers to the individual or business purchasing the materials from the Seller. 1.3 &#8220;Materials&#8221; refers to the second-hand roofing materials supplied by the Seller, including but not limited to tiles, slates, ridges, lead, and timber. 1.4 &#8220;Agreement&#8221; refers to these Terms and Conditions governing the sale of the Materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Condition of Materials<\/strong> 2.1 The Buyer acknowledges that the Materials are second-hand and may have signs of wear, weathering, or other imperfections. 2.2 The Seller makes reasonable efforts to describe the Materials accurately but does not guarantee their suitability for any specific purpose. 2.3 The Buyer is responsible for inspecting the Materials prior to purchase to ensure they meet their requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Pricing and Payment<\/strong> 3.1 All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to change without prior notice. 3.2 Full payment must be received before the Materials are released for collection or delivery. 3.3 Payment methods accepted include [list payment methods, e.g., bank transfer, credit card, cash]. 3.4 Deposits, where applicable, are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Title and Risk<\/strong> 7.1 Ownership of the Materials transfers to the Buyer upon full payment. 7.2 Risk in the Materials transfers to the Buyer upon collection or delivery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8.
